2 Corinthians 3:18...“And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit”

Colossians 3:14-16...“And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness
in your hearts to God”

Sermon In A Sentence: It is God’s redemptive plan to create a new community made up of individuals who have put off sin and put on virtue.

John 13:35...“By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another”

1 Corinthians 14:25...“The secrets of his heart are disclosed, and so, falling on his face, he will worship God and declare that God is really among you”

Above All God Intends To Transform Us As Individuals Into A Church:
-Where love binds us together in harmony (v.14)

“Agape” Love:
-“a selfless, sacrificial love that is characterized by action rather than emotion.”
-Same word in John 3:16, “For God so loved (agape) the world that He gave His only Son…”

1 Thessalonians 4:3-6...“For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you know how to control his own body in holiness and honor, not in the passion of lust like the Gentiles who do not know God; that no one transgress and wrong his brother in this matter, because the Lord is an avenger in all these things”
