Foundational To A Changed Life Is:
-Knowing that everything begins with God
-Knowing that God’s creation was very good
-Knowing it all became very bad at “The Fall”
-Knowing belief in “The Gospel” saves us
-Knowing that Jesus came to redeem the creation
-Knowing that only God produces change in us

Sermon In A Sentence: What is required for real change to occur in your life is not better circumstances, but the Holy Spirit’s help to digest the Word of God.

2 Timothy 3:16-17...“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work”

“The Scriptures Were Not Given For Our Information; But, For Our Transformation” -C.H. Spurgeon

Matthew 4:4...“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God”

Job 1:22...“In all this Job did not sin or charge God with wrong”

Job 23:12...“I have treasured the words of His (God’s) mouth more than
my daily food”

2 Timothy 3:16-17...“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work”

Sermon In A Sentence: What is required for real change to occur in your life is not better circumstances, but the Holy Spirit’s help to digest the Word of God.

God’s Spirit Uses Scripture For Our Spiritual Growth & Profit:
-To digest what righteous living looks like
-To digest what wrong living looks like
-To digest what getting right looks like
-To digest what staying right looks like

1 Peter 3:13-15...“Now who is there to harm you if you are zealous for what is good? But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled, but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness & respect”

Sermon In A Sentence: What is required for real change to occur in your life is not better circumstances, but the Holy Spirit’s help to digest the Word of God.
