“Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavens. For He chose us in Him, before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love He predestined us to be adopted through Jesus Christ for Himself, according to His favor and will, to the praise of His glorious grace”

Ephesians 1:12 “So that we who had already put our hope in the Messiah might bring praise to His glory.”

Ephesians 1:13-14 “…you were also sealed with the promised Holy Spirit. He is the down payment of our inheritance, for the redemption of the possession, to the praise
of His glory.”

Ephesians 2:6-7 “Together with Christ Jesus He also raised us up and seated us in the heavens, so that in the coming ages He might display the immeasurable riches of His grace through His kindness to us in Christ Jesus.”

Sermon In A Sentence: It is to the praise of God’s glory that in the coming ages He intends to display the immeasurable riches of His grace.

In The Coming Ages:
-God will put on display His immeasurable grace
-God will put on display the riches of His immeasurable grace
-God will put on display His kindness to us
-God will put on display His kindness to us in Christ Jesus

Defining “Grace”
-“Charis”-God’s unmerited favor
-It is “divine facilitating”
-It is “God’s power for living”
“Grace is God’s merciful response to undeserving people”—John Piper

“God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work” -2 Corinthians 9:8

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness” -2 Corinthians 12:9

“By the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me” -1 Corinthians 15:10

1 Corinthians 2:9 “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

Psalm 16:11 “In your presence (God) there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”

Romans 8:31 “What then shall we say to these things? If (since) God is for us, who can be against us?”
