Matthew 28:19-20 “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you.”
Acts 20:27 “I testify to you this day that I am innocent of everyone’s blood, for I did not shrink back from declaring to you the whole plan of God.”
Our Sermon In A Sentence:From his conversion to Christ to the end of his life the Apostle Paul set for us an obedient example of faithfulness to Christ’s Commission.
Paul’s Disciple Making Lessons:
-He persuaded the lost about Jesus
-He knew not everyone would believe
-He warned hard hearts from Scripture
-He shared the consequences of unbelief
-He welcomed those who would listen
Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and
intentions of the heart.”
“…some have rejected faith and a good conscience and have suffered the shipwreck of their faith.” -1 Timothy 1:19
“I discipline my body and bring it under strict control, so that after preaching to others, I myself will not be disqualified” -1 Corinthians 9:27
