042521- “When I Find Time” Acts 24:24-27.

“The eyes are useless when the mind is blind.”

Acts 24:24-27 “......, he sent for Paul and listened to him on the subject of faith in Christ Jesus. Now as he spoke about righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix became afraid and replied, ‘Leave for now, but when I find time I’ll call for you.’ At the same time he was also hoping that money would be given to him by Paul. For this reason he sent for him quite often and conversed with him. After two years had passed, Felix received a successor, Porcius Festus, and because he wished to do a favor for the Jews, Felix left Paul in prison.”

Our Sermon In A Sentence:You make the greatest impact on eternity when you use your time to follow Jesus and then help everyone you can to also follow Him.

James 4:13-14 “Come now, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will travel to such and such a city and spend a year there and do business and make a profit.’ You don’t even know what tomorrow will bring—what your life will be! For you are like smoke that appears for a little while, then vanishes”

Felix Never Found Time For Jesus:

  • He Was Blind To His Situation
  • He Was Blind To The Urgency

  • He Was Blinded By His Power

2 Corinthians 6:1-2 “We appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain. For He says, ‘In a favorable time I listened to you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you.’ Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”
