“Upholding The Simple Gospel” Acts 21:15-26. Galatians 1:9 “As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.” Our Sermon In A Sentence: We Are Responsible For Sharing The Simple Truth Of The Gospel & To Avoid Confusing Anyone By Adding Anything To It. The Simplicity Of The Gospel Message Requires That We: Avoid Unnecessary Conflict, Avoid Legalism Over Symbols, Avoid Separating Over Culture. 1 Corinthians 9:20-23 “To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law. To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel.” Galatians 3:28 “There is to be no Jew or Greek, slave or free, male or female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” John 13:34,35 “I give you a new command: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, you must also love one another. By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
