012421- "Unity in the Faith" Ephesians 4:12-16. “For the training of the saints in the work of ministry, to build up the body of Christ, until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of God’s Son, growing into a mature man with a stature measured by Christ’s fullness. Then we will no longer be little children, tossed by the waves and blown around by every wind of teaching, by human cunning with cleverness in the techniques of deceit. But speaking the truth in love, let us grow in every way into Him who is the head—Christ. From Him the whole body, fitted and knit together by every supporting ligament, promotes the growth of the body for building up itself in love by the proper working of each individual part.” Our Sermon In A Sentence:The Sign Of A Spiritually Mature Church Is A Humble Unity Around Their Faith In Christ Alone. Biblical Definition Of Unity:“The Unity Of The Church Refers To The Union Of The People of God, in All Their Various Distinctives and Expressions, Bound to God and to One Another By The Gospel.” We Are Called To Find Unity In Our Faith In Christ:Not Worldly Doctrines (Eph 4:14), Not Our National Pride (Gal 3:28), Not Our People Group (Gal 3:28), Not Our Financial Status (Gal 3:28), Not Our Gender (Gal 3:28), Not Disputable Matters (Col 3:11).
