We’re not your usual show up, doze off, and go home church. We deal with real life issues. We know that many of you are hurting, scared, or unsure where life is taking you. Through Small Group Ministry and our Men’s and Women’s Ministries we work at getting to know you and help you through the hard times in life. Everyone has “issues”, so we don’t pretend that life should be perfect.

Morningside Bible Church has a passionate desire to be a growing, culturally diverse church with evangelistic passion, love for the local community, and a commitment to missions here and abroad. We remain committed to the vision of our founders, some 70 years ago, to be a community of Christ followers learning, growing, and worshipping our awesome God!

Our Beginnings....                      

                               Dr. Harry D. Clarke         William Ashley (Billy) Sunday

The roots of the Morningside Bible Church go all the way back to 1938. Dr. Harry Clarke, who had served as song-leader for world-famous Evangelist Billy Sunday, felt led of the Lord to establish a church in Sioux City with a small group of committed believers that had come to know Christ during a Billy Sunday Evangelist Campaign in the area. Together, they committed to build a community where they could learn and grow and worship God.
